Goat Hill Loop via Pyramid / Bursera
Ranger Trail - South Mountain
Bursera Trail - South Mountain
Partners none no partners
Pyramid/Bursera loop with Ranger and Goat Hill thrown in. Temps in the 40's and cloudy to start. Didn't take long for the sun to come out. South Mountain got some decent rain from this front (I got a little over half an inch at my house). Signs of runoff on the trails and quite a few puddles still out there. Saw a few wildflowers but not as many as a couple weeks ago.
The air is very clear now. Views of the Estrellas showed a lot more detail than usual. Steam rising from Palo Verde easily visible. Great day for a hike. :)
