| no partners | | This is a really interesting hike. Great big wide views of the Colorado River Valley, plus the amazing Fisher Towers looming over you like skyscrapers. On the way back I saw some rock climbers up on one of them.
I saw a Great Basin Gopher Snake, and got several photos.
This hike is very popular. I got to the trailhead around 8 a.m. or so, and there were a few people around, starting the hike, or getting ready to climb. Of course, on the way back, there were many people.
Near the beginning of the hike I took a side loop which is called the Red Onion Loop Trail. I didn't actually mean to get off onto that trail, but it turned out fine. |
