| partners | | | there are a couple of hikes that southpawaz had on his bucket list for the spring, and this was one of them. since i hadn't done any major hikes in a while, so i decided to go ahead and suggest this one. yep, probably a bad idea, but what the hey. i figured i wouldn't make it all the way, and yet i did! i had some severe muscle cramping starting just below the esperero trail junction that didn't stop until dinner, but i pushed through and drank more than four litres of water and a half litre of powerade. |

Wildflowers Observation Moderate
i say moderate for the trip overall, because there was so little in the way of blooms above the pools. substantial flowers below the pools. |
