Joined our friends Rich and Sue who we met on the S. Kaibab Trail in 2005. We have vacationed together every year since. Not sure we actually did the hike description trail as we saw no official cairns as noted in the description. There are many neighborhood trails in this area. Our goal was to reach a pinnacle rock at the top and turn around. Stopped and had our lunch at the top. As you can see from the RS map we had many wrong turns and lots of backtracking! In the several hours we were hiking we only saw a pair of horseback riders so that’s a real plus in the Sedona area.
