Got curious about the amount of water in Cottonwood and Cave Creek in the Spur Cross area. From the parking lot I went out Spur Cross Trail. Added the Fairy Duster loop for .6 miles, back on Spur Cross added Mariposa Trail for .44 miles, came back on Metate Trail. Found the Metate!.... but not the game camera at the water pond. I've seen the photos from the camera and know the general area it would be in. Maybe next time.

No flow in Cottonwood Creek just some isolated pools. Cave Creek was running. I'll post some photos showing the flow. All wood bridges are back in place.

Just me today.
