Just east of Queen Valley, we found a dirt road going north to the 4 R ranch. I drove my SUV to the final barricade marked "No Dumping". We parked there and walked down the road into the canyon to find a corral with several cattle. We continued into the canyon to the right to find the Cross, then continued up the canyon and crossed the creek searching for the 'ladder' that we had read about. Lots of water flowing down the creek to satisfy the thirsty cattle and plenty of places to easily cross the creek by rock hopping. It was great to find this fascinating area. |
