| no partners | | | We left our parking area just or Arnett Canyon road, south of Superior where there were a number of campers enjoying the area. We walked the road for about 3 miles and decided to approach Tower arch from the south trail rather than coming in from the west side as we have done in the past. We were excited to see the Bobcat on the road walk in. My first sighting after hiking many years. We revised our route to come up from the south side trail. It made it fun to do scramble through the upcropping rocks rather than dropping down through them as we have done in the past. I think everyone enjoyed visiting the tower after the long road walk. The visit to Los Hermanos for a green chili burro is always the highlight for me. |
