Recent rains drew me to do a loop from the Massacre Grounds trailhead. I went directly to the Massacre Falls area where there was lots of hiking traffic. From there, decided to bushwhack to Waterfall Canyon, then to Praying Hands and back to the trailhead. Sighting the deer prompted me to post the hike.
