The afternoon started with a boring and aborted hike on the nearby Monument Trail. Having hiked the Boulders Loop several times in the past, I headed for my old favorite "in town" trail. The Boulders Loop Trail has been improved and is easier to navigate now that P.A.T.S. took it over. Great scenery as always. Even the drive in on Granite Dells Road is prettier: alot of the illegal forest dumping has been cleaned up. Lookin' good Payson! :)
