A great afternoon hike up Wrightson today. Very uncharacteristic late June weather looked and felt more like August. I enjoyed it. Lots of birds singing mid day, probably because it was cooler and dark with the clouds. A storm fast approaching drove me off the summit in 3 minutes, but I beat the hard rain that seems to have hit the range after I left.

I heard another Trogon in the Canyon about half way from the TH to Josephine Saddle. I still have yet to see one, but if you learn the call you can easily hear them here. Turns out, I have been hearing them for years and just never knew.
