From the saddle, we stayed on Super and circled around Wrightson the long way. Fairly brushy from Riley Saddle to the jct with Gardner Canyon Trail, then clear after that. Once at Baldy Saddle we headed up to the summit. Two small patches of snow on the trail, but no big deal. Had the summit pretty much to ourselves, other than some other hikers arriving as we were leaving. Headed down Old Baldy trail all the way back to the parking area. Quite a few people on the last mile or so. Great breeze today, and not too warm other than the final mile. |
