| partners | | | Hiked this long but easy loop with Jim. It was my first time in this area. Most of the trail was pleasant as it was sandy and without much rock. We saw several cattle eating pieces of teddy bear chollas and it was a bit disturbing and difficult to watch. I can't imagine why they would not prefer eating grass or something without hundreds of thorns all over it. My Strava said we hiked 10.3 miles which is longer than the guide indicated. I suppose I'll load my route into this site and see if the stats match up. |
