Short work day yesterday so I decided to get out for an easy hike close to home so Jacob's Trail was the perfect choice. Started from LSDP with tons of people on the Siphon Draw freeway but as soon as I turned off on Jacob's Trail not a soul in sight. Wildflowers and bees galore was the theme for the day as I made my over to Monument Canyon, took a quick break and headed back to the truck. It was definitely warm out with temps in the low 80's which is right at my threshold but this is an easy hike overall doesn't require a ton of work to overheat you. Wildflowers are starting to wilt with the heat so I give it a week at most before they start to die off. Always great to get out in the Supes even for a short one.
