mike suggested a trip down the salt river since the flow is still decent (700 cfs this morning)
we got going from saguaro ranch a little after nine
earlier would have been better given the temps
i wasn't sure about using the cheap challenger inflatables, but sue and i did fine in them other than sue getting sucked into the bushes at one bend
mike and fletch have hard sided kayaks, and those seem to be faster
fun day on the water and sue enjoyed the experience
we saw egrets, great blue herons, horses and a bald eagle
not too many people on the river
