We got going before ten today, because someone didn't bring enough coffee :o
Blue skies, cool temps, very windy
We enjoyed the views from the rim and the oak leaves turning yellow
I didn't realize two miles of this trail are blacktop
Took a short break at the turnaround point
Easy walking, decent mileage, not much elevation gain
Headed home, stopping in payson for thai food and coffee
Fun trip with a good sampler of hikes for sue
