Fun with packraft. Parked at Coon, loaded kayak in pack, and biked over to Pebble Beach. Earlier start meant less traffic than last week. When I locked up the bike my back tire fell off - eh, problem for future Jacob. Inflated kayak next to some annoyed-looking fishers and pushed off.

This middle section of river was interestingly different. The fast sections felt faster, but I also didn’t drag bottom once, even though I forgot the inflatable bottom and was sitting pretty low. Saw a lot more wildlife — sheep, deer, cardinals, fish, and four different bands of horses. More trash too, since it’s part of the tubing area. Another relaxing, enjoyable start to a weekend, and now the fam expects donuts.
