Met up with Linda a little later then normal for a South Mountain hike. Still feels a little warm out there. I agree with Linda. Counter clockwise option is better. It still kicks my butt. My internal aeg meter seems a little off as my aeg guesses were slightly different then Linda's. :o :D . The trail was in pretty good shape for this steep. Some trail work has been done. Saw a couple of the new trail signage posts. Heavy Duty! Still pretty dry out there . More Saguaro down and the Bursera looked pretty thirsty.
Saw one hiker one the way up and 3 or 4 on the way down along with one mountain biker. Of course more people and riders on the flats. Great to get in another hike with Linda! Like HAZ, she rocks!!
