| no partners | | | Ron chose a route to hike to Heart Arch from the Canyon lake trailhead. Leaving the car, we crossed the bridge and walked down the recreation site on the south side of the road and began climbing up from the south end. A pretty rugged route, we planned to drop down to the creek and up the east side of the creek to reach Heart Arch then return to the car via West Boulder Trail. Ron's ankle injury changed our planned route and we endured the adventure of leaving via the creek bed which is quite rugged in areas. A challenging hike and we were happy Ron was able to endure the pain to get out on his own/ |
