After the recent snow, we decided it would be a good time to visit the mine and find our way to the waterfall. Chuck and Jen had visited the waterfall before, so showed us the route after we toured the mine. As we hiked the waterfall trail, met the fellow who created the trail two years ago while he was doing trail maintenance on the trail. John determined that the water came down from the Robbers Roost area above to fall into this area. After the hike, we drove to the new regional park on the way out Peralta road. Beautiful poppies fill that area.
