| no partners | | | My friend has been wanting to check out the eagle eye for a while. Set up a plan and headed out. Now this was more of a 4x4 trip with a bit of hiking at the end. We approached this different from the guide. We went in from the Frontside. So took 0047 to 0047J. We took 0047J to the end, which ends just outside the wilderness with an awesome viewpoint of the eagle eye from the front. This route also goes through some old mines that are fun to explore as well. We did attempt to reach the arch from the front but I will say we didn't try too hard. Didn't make it that is, but it was still a nice day out in the desert. If you continue on 0047J to the end you will need a decent 4 wheel drive. |
