A friend recommended this, I hike in this area a lot but never from this trailhead or on this specific trail. I enjoyed it. I get why they call it Quartz Ridge, lots of white rocks along the way. Parking lot is a bit small, luckily I'm an early bird. Seems most people go up to the peak and head back from there.
