| no partners | | I got a Harem hike on the schedule for tomorrow and Sunday/Monday are looking to be a wash out, so I thought I'd go out and punish myself on the mountain bike today. I guess summer must be on the way, because my leisurely winter morning pace meant it was heating up by the time I started to roll. Parked at Estrella Safeway and hit the north Pirate "UP" trails, Estrella Loop, Pirates Cove, 1 Up, Pirates Cove, Giddy Up Alt, Giddy Up, What Up, Coyote, What Up, Hook Up, Beam Me Up, Saddle Up, Upper Pass, Upside Down, Round Up, Upside Down, and back out to Estrella Parkway on Saddle Up. Used the tunnel to cross under Estrella Parkway and jumped on Hillside Drive DG north to the Lucero trails, Copper Creek Crosscut, Coyote Creek, Tarantula, Black Widow, and Thrasher out to Cotton Lane. Crossed Cotton Lane and rode Roxy's Road back to the Estrella/Cotton traffic circle to return to Safeway. Say one hiker on the Up trails. Lots of headwind on Roxy Road. I was tired. It was a good day to empty the bucket  Steak dinner with sauteed mushrooms on the menu for tonight. Drool! |
