| no partners | | | Morning hike out at Skyline. Did a loop involving the Parking Connector trail - Quartz - Skyline Crest - Crest - Lost Creek and Mountain Wash. Lot of trails, but only did segments on most of them. The Parking Lot Connector (surprisingly), Quartz, and Skyline Crest(s) trails are all pretty nice. The Lost Creek and Mountain Wash are roads turned trail so are not quite as unique. Decent elevation change on the Lost Creek and Crest trails. Nice view from Crest Summit. Just missed the sunrise. Very few people on the trails today. Only met 2 hikers, though I did see a few others in the distance. No wildlife. |
