| no partners | | I started this relatively short hike around 4 pm and knew I had plenty of time to finish. After taking the main road for a short distance, I turned left onto an unmarked trail which led me to the top of this peak. This trail was very well maintained. Along the way, I saw some nice hedgehog cactus with pretty pink flowers.
At the top, there was an old bench with the peak name and elevation engraved, and also an ammo box with a registry and several other items. I signed the registry and a woman by the name of Wilma summited shortly after me. She was from Lithuania and we had a nice conversation. She asked about hiking in Tucson and I told her all the best places for first timer's - Mt Lemmon/Summerhaven, Sabino Canyon, Madera Canyon, Tanque Verde Falls, etc.
