| no partners | | I called a day ahead of time to see if any of the three weekly permits were still available, and since all three were unused, I felt confident about getting one. In the morning I rolled into the visitor center a few minutes after 8. Took care of the paperwork and headed west to the start of the hike to the playground.
I wasn't too sure about things on the way there, but once I arrived, and the more I wandered, the more cool things I encountered. It's a pretty great area. |
