| no partners | | This was a nice canyon but not spectacular. There is a really nice white slot with smooth polished walls about a mile in. After another half mile there is a great pool with a spiral waterslide. We kept going another mile further but we hit our turnaround time wihout seeing too much else of note and headed back. Was much quicker on the way out, but we were motivated by hunger!
I'm wondering if we turned back before the money spot Hank describes. Oh well, just reason to return another day.
BTW, thanks for the info on the road. While I probably could have made it all the way to the artisan well, I elected to stop short of the muddy areas so we hiked a little bit on the roads going in and out. |
