| no partners | | Did the same loop as in August, but clockwise and I cut off some of the lower section to save time. The best part is the open burned area in NW.
Fall is coming on, but it is not very vibrant as it has be rather dry for these parts since early August. Dry means little rain, and says nothing about dewpoints. It smells a lot nicer here than in northern NJ at the Gap. I do remember that from the past. The pines, sand, and other plants usually are pleasant in the warmer months.
Once again, the spotted deer were in the more frequently burned forest.
No hikers or bikers, but a lot of road traffic. |
