| partners | | An interesting place I've wanted to visit for a while. Wally and I were in the neighborhood after the Canyonlands hike the day before and decided to make the hike in.
After driving right past the road, I turned around and we parked on Arch Canyon Road and started off.
The hike to the House on Fire follows the creek and is easy to follow. I read in a report that there was some scrambling to get to the ruins, but it was right off the wash.
We kinda sorta hit the time for the "House on Fire" effect, but not as much as I have seen in the past. Of course, who knows how some of these photos really look like before the saturation and warmth sliders and editing brushes are deployed. I will post a couple of no edits and some with some "artistic" enhancement. Y'all can be the judge. |
