I went back to the Salt River Interpretive Trail again and this time I followed all the side unmarked horse trails out and back to the main trail. By the time I was done with them all and did the main trail I had over 7.5 miles in. Not many other people on the trail. One guy was sitting in a chair on an unmarked trail, looks like maybe he was a birdwatcher. An older couple walking the other way had a young husky that wanted to play, which was funny.

Very cold to start until the sun hit the horizon. first 20 minutes my fingers were numb. Warmed up quickly in the sun.
