From the Wolverine Pass TH I hiked up towards Dome Mt. and 3 Lesser Peaks to check out the 3 Lesser Peaks "trail". There isn't one, which is what Andy had told me. I thought that on the back side I saw one a few years ago when I hiked Dome Mt, but when I got to that turn off, there was nothing. The approach to the peaks looked pretty doable and friendly, but I wasn't in the mood today.

Headed back down and hiked over towards the Deer Tanks Trail with the intent to hike that south and then back to the lot. But by the time I got to FR10 it was nearly 10am so I decided to just hike the road back.

Saw 2 mule deer on the way up towards Dome Mt. I was suprised at how they weren't spooked at all and never took off. Only saw 4 other hikers and 2 4WD riders. Chilly to start, remained fairly cool once the sun hit.
