Had a friend from out of town visiting who wanted to do this one. So we spent Saturday touristing. Temps were borderline tolerable and the wind didn't really kick up til afternoon (But when it did ... oy!)

Hadn't stood on flatiron in 3 years and not on 5024 in 6. These are popular hikes for a reason. It's pretty impressive up there. Fire char was still fresh on 5024 and it was depressingly dry in every direction. Yay 2025.

Stopped by Cat Wagon in AJ on the way home for a bevvy. It's nice that there's a new option for a high-quality tasty beverage out in east methland.
