RS seems to think that I kayaked uphill 71 feet. I'll override that stat. Then again, according to the google map layer, less than a quarter mile of this trip occurred on water, so maybe there's something to it.

'Twas a pleasant couple of hours on the water. It's been a while since I put the hardsided ship to sea. It has some advantages over the inflatable board.

Encountered an entire gaggle of herons. A handful of other water users. Mostly empty parking lots and no traffic in the shipping lanes. This one is enjoyable once in a while.
