On the trail by 5 am The early start, among with some fortuitous clouds kept us on the shade nearly the entire hike. Saw only two other people on the way up. Headed straight to the summit (aside: I noticed that google maps has decided to name peak 5024 “Ironview Peak”). Enjoyed the summit to ourselves and then headed out to the top of Flatiron on our descent. Heading down, we crossed about 20 people who also decided to kick off Labor Day with my kind of “labor.”
