| no partners | | I did half a circumference after work and a trip to Costco. I didn't get on the trail until around 4:30ish. There were a few people and a few dogs on the trail... no leashes. There were also two of those big blackbirds. I got a couple pictures of the one on the ground closest to me. You could hear them communicating back and forth like "come here" and the other bird, "no, come here".
I hiked heading west up to the saddle of the two most northern mountains (or hills), headed south and around the SW hill to the gap below the middle hump and down to the main trail. I should have gotten done a little quicker or did a little more but when the sun starts to go down, it's time to go home. The sky and clouds were pretty today. Squaw Peak was neat looking too. |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
