Started on National Trail going NE from Telegraph Pass. At roughly .85mi, I took a right onto an abandoned trail - I presume it's an old section of National Trail.

The old trail heads southeast towards the antennae crest. After a couple of switchbacks, I found myself at the fenceline just below Peak 2690. Obviously it isn't possible to legally visit these peaks, but it's cool to see the area from a new, slightly higher perspective, no pun intended.

Retraced most of my steps back to the car. The old trail is easier to follow on the way down.
