I got started just after 6AM on a cool morning...this might be the last day with a high in the 60s for a long time, so I wanted to get outside and enjoy it. Clouds and haze made for a bland sunrise, but the trails weren't too busy. I hadn't been to Dobbins Lookout in a few months, so I defaulted to my old go-to route through Hidden Valley out to Dobbins.

Nothing too interesting today...quiet trails, no unusual wildlife, just some new graffiti on the way up to the lookout that wasn't there last time. But it was a perfect morning to be out, and the cool breeze felt great--I didn't ditch the long sleeves until Dobbins. A few more months and the summer sweat-fest will be here :(. I was feeling good on the hike out and went up and over Marcos de Niza again to finish it off.
