We started from Houston Brothers trailhead after a short setup shuttle from General Springs. Continued down trail passed McFarland Spring and then to Aspen Spring/cabin site for the first break. Ran into several hikers along the way and two at Aspen. After the break it was on to Pinchot Cabin and there was a family camped at the site where we took another short break.

Then followed the trail passed the 95 road wash out and onto the Fred Haught Trail. The trail continues into the Quien Sabe Draw which for some reason is my favorite part of the FHT. Probably the nice Pondo stands and ferns despite there being no water in the section.

Intersected with the AZT and then we followed that up canyon back to General Springs passed some decent pools which are usually there this time of year. Easy stroll back to the vehcle at General Springs.
