Wally and I hit the trail around 5:15 to 59 degree temps!

One other car in lot. We saw a camper about a mile in and he talked to us for a bit. From Wisconsin , I think. The only person we saw on the hike. Trails were in the normal shape. A little rocky. It looked pretty dry out there. We had shade for the first 3 miles.

We saw quite a few rabbits and lizards and a few birds. Wally's "W" was still there. In the last mile Wally came through and showed me a Gila Monster

. I blew my chance for a good pic but it was awesome to see one as it's been awhile. Temps didn't get out of the 70's for the hike.

. Very enjoyable outing! finished off with Wienerschnitzel chili dogs! MmMm
