It rained yesterday and was supposed to clear up today so I planned on a longer route. I got to Barks Canyon and it started to rain which then turned to sleet and finally snow. As I approached Weavers Needle it was coming down good and I couldn't see the Needle? At that point I decided to head back so I wouldn't lose the trail. The rock cairns were easy to spot so no trouble. The snow continued until about 3/4 mile from the trailhead. Once at the trailhead is was only rain. I was completely wet but I will be back.
