Made two attempts to do this hike, but our first try things were not going that well. The second time was great weather, and a great day to be out hikng.

Went and hiked the trail the best I could with two hiking buddies. I think I missed read the hike discription or missed a turn off. A great day, and great hike, but it will take more research.

Never hiked East Mountain trail, and by the looks of it not many people have. Great views, and a great day to be out hiking.

Center Mountain/Lucky Strike trails. Great weather and views. The trails are over grown, but it made for a great day hike. Camped alongside Reynolds Creek, and enjoyed some great craft beer.

It probably in vain putting this on here, because the people that leave trash at the trail head and on the trail probably don’t read triplogs or can’t read. PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT! I have taken short day hikes the last two weeks, and packed out 50 gallon size of trash bag out. Most people hike to enjoy the outdoors, so why leave your trash out there? If you like to see trash when you hike, go to the dump, and you can see all of the trash you want.

OK off of my soapbox. Did a short hike this morning, but ne pictures, batteries died on me. Not too hot, but in some of the lower areas it was muggy. All in all it was a good day to be out doors.

Thursday morning cabin fever (Stuck in town to long) I took a trip across Four Peaks. I by mistake made a left turn at Albuquerque and found myself up on the 224 and a group of seniors on side by sides. Had a blast exploring the area, and would like to go again with more people to see what it has to offer. Does anyone have anything to share about this area? Like a dip my camera was in the other 4X4 and I was not able to get any pictures.

Was going to hike Goat canyon / Mesquite loop, but took a shorter trip. This was my first time hiking in the White Tanks area. We had a great time with a total of 8 of us. Well 1 person was getting over the flue, so only 7 did the entire loop. It was a nice hike, not much for shade, but I will have to hike this area again.

Another great morning hiking Superstations, and only seen a few other hikers. Half way back up the Dutchman I found water, not much, but with a filter 2 to 3 gallons.

Was going to go Wheeling, but my Jeep battery died. Enjoyed a different track this time to obtain another view. Got to the spring to find the fish and frogs were gone. Best guess is Ricky Raccoon had them for dinner, but not to worry another group of tadpoles are there. Great day for hiking, maybe next time I can get an early start and take a longer hike.

Some pools of water, and one larger pool a person could have cool off in. It looked a bit nasty though.

The pool was full, and a small amount of water from the pipe.

Did not have much time to hike the trail, I manly went up for spring water for a beer I want to brew. I first stopped at Workman Creek area and picked 40 pounds of apples for some jelly. I got to the spring to find very little water coming out of the hose. In trying to get water for my next beer, I needed to find a good water source. I found the problem, the hose was broken about 25 feet up from the tank. Someone before me patched it up with some first aid tape and a small tube, but the tape was all coming off. All I had was electrical tape, so I did the best I could to patch it up.

Another trip up to Cienega Spring just to get out, and enjoy a nice day. Also get more water to brew beer. Just a thought to other hikers, would it seem too much to take my jeep along this road? There are lots of 4X4 trails already, and I have second thoughts of blasting through here making another.

Had a great time hiking with friends. My friend Randy that set up this hike found out later there was a trail runners event going on. Still had a good time.

Lots of green, but not much for water. I did not make it down to the box canyon section. Still better than spending time in town.

Did not see much wildlife, just a raccoon. I headed up for the weekend to get away from the valley, so all was good.

Great weekend camping in AZ. hiked the west section of Bear Canyon, but did not do the loop. Placed two shuttles at the junction of Bear Canyon and FR95. Had a great time seen at least six elks, but most of the time I was looking for wild hops along the canyon floor. Well lucky me, I found more than I have ever seen in one area. It is a must do hike for people that enjoy off trail hiking.

In the area exploring, and thought I would check out the trail. Did not finish it, but plan to go back again and make a day of it. Nice hike with great views of Reynold’s Creek, a must do. Brought back spring water for a beer I want to brew.

Great hike, and great weather. About 1 quart per minute from the spring, but a good amount flowing through the creak. Stopped off to see the ruins.

A bunch of people that I work with were heading up on this trip, and I was invited along. I was juggling between the Bronco and the Jeep Cherokee, but the Jeep that I just recently bought I took the Bronco. This was a great trip, and I would do it again. We made a day of it stopping from time to time to take in the sights. We made it up to Crown King just before it started to rain. One person in front of me had some troubles on a hill in the loose gravel. For a second I thought he was going into the ditch, but luckily he did not. As I went up this same hill I stayed to the right to stay out of the loose gravel. I did tweak my rear bumper on a rock that I hit, but nothing bad.
