Moron working an info center told me there would be plenty of water at the bottom of the canyon, so i bring my old man out there and its completely dry. Thank god I knew how to use the plants around us to get liquids or i wouldnt be typing this right now. Sycamore canyon all along Dogie was dry atleast the parts I saw. Beautuful area though, first time i went all the way to the cabin. freakin hot out there too :sweat:

Beautiful area and perfect day for a hike. The water is incredibly clear and jumping into some waterfalls was exactly what i needed after the hike. All was good except for cedar nats, im covered in bites today.

Went around from 105 looking for 106 and overshot it by atleast 3 miles onto the road because somebody knocked down the signs for trail 106 off of the 105A. If you do this same route, keep a close lookout, (i tried to fix the signs but im worried the wind might blow them away) because if you hit the carens youve just overshot 106 so turn back unless you want a tireing all steep uphill 3 miles to get back to it. but overall the views were incredible and I'm glad I went. Plus the whole hike smelled sweet due to all of the wildflower growth, great time of year.
