Baroque style altarpiece-reliquary from the mid-18th century that presides over the head of the temple. The ensemble is crowned by a small sculpture of Saint Jerome, who holds in his hand a model of a temple that symbolises his status as a doctor of the Church, with a lion at his feet, which is usually what he is represented with.
