We did our Wednesday hike down in the Estrella Mountains for a change. Very remote and rugged area. The trail was in great shape for the first 2 miles or so, then it became overgrown and more difficult to follow. However, some energetic hiker build a lot of cairns, which helped keep us on the trail to the peak. Thank you. The trail was steep in places and rocky in many more which slowed us down. However, it was an enjoyable and challenging hike with great views in all directions.
