| no partners | | Made my first trip to the north rim! After a very long drive from the Phoenix area, Cheryl and I headed over to the lodge to check out the view...we were staying at the campground. Needless to say the views were amazing! The lodge is located right on the edge and blends beautifully with the surroundings. We walked out to the point and soaked in the views. From there we returned to the lodge and enjoyed more spectacular views! While there we both petted Brighty's nose for luck.
On a side note we both found it very funny that the restaurant takes reservations only and they were "all full" even though more then half the tables were open. Oh well, we went back to camp and ate food we brought. |
