Great day making our way through La Barge Canyon! I met up with Kyle and Joe for an early start. We departed around 7am and quickly made our way to the creek bed. Once in the creek bed our paced slowed as we navigated over and around a variety of boulders. Before long we found ourselves in the big walls of the box.

We proceeded through the canyon looking for the best path. I felt like a kid in a playground. There were so many different paths to choose from. You could hike through here over and over and every time it will be different. This is a must do hike for any avid hiker.

We eventually reached the Cavalry trail and made our way over to Boulder Canyon Trail. We stopped for some lunch around the Battleship turnoff. From there we made quick way back to the cars and called it a day. Great day! Great hiking partners! And a great trail!
