This hike has a steep incline going clockwise which is the way we went. Someone along the trail informed us that it was a little easier to start out counter clockwise. It was unseasonably warm out, probably close to 90 when we did this. There is plenty of parking and the fee is $5.00 per car. There is a self-pay station in the parking lot so bring cash.
