After Groom Creek we headed over to do Thumb Butte, I mean who could resist right? Once we got up to the "spur" lookout I decided it just wouldn't be right not to get up to the top. Off I went and scrambled up to the top of the rocks. It was a little technical going up the path I took but nothing crazy. Clearly others have been as there were etchings and the like from previous visitors. If you are comfortable doing a little rock climbing the view from up top is superb! Just be careful coming down.
