| no partners | | Got a late start with a 8 year old, so I didnt finish this trail, but decide to stop and teach her how to make a quick shelter from a fir or Spruce tree. I love this area, but the trail is not really there at all. You just follow the creek and either you are on it or you are not, either way it is a slice of heaven everyone should see if you like to walk in a no mans land and just be there with God and nature. I saw lots of Elk and Bear poo, so I was watching out since I had a little one with me, but the hie is a wonderland like you would see in movies. the crawdads or crayfish in thi creek are the biggest I have ever seen in my life. I found 6"-8" crawdads that look like mini lobsters. The water felt cool and refreshing, but due to the green algae it is telling me fertlizer runoff (From where?) or someone is pooping in the creek upstream. if so please stop doing it. It will sooner or later effect the trout that live in this stream. |
