| no partners | | | I just got finished hiking Grand canyon rim trail, and headed to Flagstaff. I camped at Lockett Meadow, to hike the trail up to the top. But that morning I had a dream of an angel waking me up saying get up and go NOW. So I woke up and told everyone to wake up, lets go now. I had no idea why, but I just felt I had to go now. I looked at the relection pond and the mountain and told everyone to take a last look at it, you will never see it again. MAN, I had no Idea what i was saying. When I got down the mountain and drove over to Sunset Crater, I looked back and the whole mountain was burning down. I couldnt believe what I was watching. I literrally have the last pictures of Lockett Meadow befoe it burned down. Thank God for that angel in my sleep waking me up. I was very worried about the girls who hiked up there, and a band of musical gyspies that headed up the mountain the night before the fire. I headed to Sunset Crater to hike it, then to Sedona to hike Cathredal Rock the next day. |
