Did this as a car drop at the Cline TH, began our hike from the Ballantine TH (off the Beeline Highway). After we reached Boulder Flats the trail became difficult to spot at times. Near the Corral we decided it was getting toasty and took off our pant legs. That prove to be a big mistake as we soon found out. Trail became totally overgrown in sections. We all drew plenty of blood and one of my friends needed some surgery on Monday to have a piece of wood removed that had embedded itself into his leg :o !
Higher up we came across a couple of patches of snow that was melting fast.
All in all a beautiful hiking day but this trail needs some major maintenance before I'll do it again. Guess I'm a 'sissy'
